Out of School Hours Care
Playford McAuley OSHC is committed to providing a safe, secure, friendly and homelike environment for all children. We are a service that is registered under the National Quality Framework which means you can be assured that your child will receive care that is of the highest quality.
Our OSHC service is managed by Catherine McAuley School. The service has dedicated educators who have either formal qualifications in childcare or teaching or less formal training in the childcare field. As a team we are committed to the continual enhancement and improvement of our knowledge through ongoing professional development and training.
Activities
Playford McAuley OSHC is able to access many of the Campus facilities including the playgrounds, sandpit, hardcourts and oval. This provides us with plenty of opportunities for activities within these areas. Activities that are offered to children everyday include homework, drawing, board games, home corner/dramatic play, outdoor areas and television or DVD viewing. Creative activities are programmed for children by children submitting their program requests and by our team of educators. The main focus of the activities at Playford McAuley OSHC is to enhance the development of children’s skills in the areas of social, physical, cognitive and language.
Food at OSHC
OSHC provides a variety of Healthy and Quality Food.
Before School Care - 6:30am to 8:40am
Morning sessions provide breakfast style snacks, including toast, cereal, yoghurt and drinks. It is served at the breakfast table where children can chat with friends.
After School Care - 2:50pm to 6pm
Afternoon sessions offer a variety of fresh fruit, sandwiches and a hot snack.
We will cater for your child's dietary needs to ensure all children can enjoy being at OHSC.
How do I register my child?
Registrations for OSHC are paperless and completed online using Fully Booked by clicking here.
Please refer to our 'How to Register' guide for instructions.
Once you have regsistered, all bookings for Before and After School Care are done online via the Fully Booked App.
