Welcome to Catherine McAuley ~ Campus
We are fortunate to share a modern school site allowing us to provide exciting learning experiences for your child. We share a learning environment with Playford Primary school to offer exciting opportunities for your child.
Staff Leadership
Campus Staff meet regularly for staff meetings, committee meetings and for planning Campus activities.
As a campus we also produce campus newsletters that go home to all families. This newsletter provides an opportunity for us to share information regarding Campus projects, events and to celebrate the learning that occurs during buddy activities.
We work in a collaborative model that provides opportunities to learn from one another and enjoy combined facilities such as our playground areas, Resource Centre, Multi-purpose Room, Canteen, Art & Design areas as well as Out of Hours School Care.
Our Buddies
• Across our two schools, we have established "Buddy classes." These Buddy classes are classes of similar year levels and they aim to establish friendships and positive relationships across the Campus.
• Each term, ‘Campus Buddies’ meet to learn and have fun together, attend campus assemblies and participate in Campus focus activities.
• We look forward to coming together during our Campus assemblies which are held each term. These provide students the opportunity to show off their skills, abilities and learning in front of their peers, parents and family members.
A pleasing feature of these presentations has been showcasing buddy class learning and outcomes, with the students planning and presenting all of the items for assembly.
Student Leadership
We recognize leadership qualities in our students and encourage them to develop.Children across the campus receive campus leadership achievement awards at the campus assemblies.
