Life Long Learning from Birth to Adulthood
One of the most important decisions you as a parent or cares will ever make is where you send your most precious gift, your child, to school.
We believe that learning is life long and we at Catherine McAuley School provide fabulous support for the process of lifelong learning.
This begins with our award winning playgroup which is part of our vibrant Elizabeth Community Connections(ECC). The ECC project supports early litearcy learning for preschoolers (children under the age of 5 years) and their parents.
Supporting your child's transition from kindy/pre-school to school is of vital concern to us.
A series of transition sessions are conducted for the children with our feeder kindergartens in order to meet your child's development needs and support their start at school.
Our years six, seven and eight teachers from both primary and secondary Catholic Schools meet regularly throughout the year to ensure a smooth transition occurs to year 8 for our students
Our students continue their pathways to a Catholic Secondary Education with a priority entry into St Patrick's Technical College, Xavier College, St Columba, Our Lady of Sacred Heart, Thomas More College, St Paul's and Gleeson College.
